From construction yards (ALLAIS-Efinor Shipyard, Chantiers de l’Atlantique) to classification societies (Bureau VERITAS), via engineering firms (GTT, Sofresid-Ekium), he has developed a cross-cutting and global understanding of the challenges of the global maritime sector and its entire value chain.

Today, Geoffroy leverages his extensive international network of partners (consultants, engineering firms, renowned construction sites) to transform his clients' opportunities into concrete successes. Whether it's developing a preliminary technical project or managing a complex retrofit project within a sustainable development framework, he acts as a true catalyst, connecting them with the right partners, suppliers, and contractors to ensure his clients' ambitions are met.

His career has led him to work across all segments: oil tankers, container ships, service vessels, cruise ships, and offshore units. This versatility allows him to understand the specific challenges of each fleet, whether operational constraints, regulatory compliance, engineering challenges, or decarbonization.
From technical expertise to business strategy
Having started as a naval architect and then a machinery expert, Geoffroy subsequently moved into business development and sales management roles. It is this dual technical and business background that gave rise to sillage.
